This hotel provides excellent value for money, with reasonable prices for its services. The attention to detail, from the beautiful antiques in the rooms to the stunning view from our private terrace, really enhanced our stay. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. Plus, the location within a 12th Century fortress added a unique charm to the experience.
There was only one small negative aspect which could be improved upon - the breakfast offerings were limited, with no cereals or yogurt provided. We found it to be slightly expensive considering the options available.

Spent Xmas at this hotel and it was magical! The cozy fireplaces and beautiful holiday decorations really set the mood. The hotel's location was perfect for our needs - easily accessible to local attractions and scenic views. The food was exceptional, with a variety of local specialties and a good wine selection that added to the overall experience.
Although the staff was friendly and accommodating, the service was a bit slow and unorganized at times. The lack of air conditioning made the rooms uncomfortably warm, but that didn't detract too much from the wonderful Xmas atmosphere.

This hotel truly transports you to another time with its medieval charm and breathtaking views. The 12th Century fortress setting is absolutely stunning and the village of Poet Laval is like something out of a fairytale. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, making you feel right at home. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with large beds and beautiful antique furnishings. And the highlight? Our own private terrace, where we enjoyed the most picturesque sunsets.
Nothing to complain about - everything was just perfect.
